BOTOXⓇ, Dysport, or Jeuveau are injected into the muscle to reduce the wrinkles caused by muscle movement. These three medications work well on crow’s feet, horizontal forehead lines and the frown lines between the eyebrows. Additionally, there are several off label uses for these medications including treatment for neckbands, chin dimples, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), and jawline slimming. BOTOXⓇ has been clinically trialed and studied more than Ibuprofen and proven to be safe and effective. Treatments are recommended every 3-4 months and can be completed in about a 15-30 minute appointment with our skilled nurse injector.
Injectables
At Tantrum Med Spa, we have a few different types of injectable treatments to fight the aging process. Aging is a dynamic process! With age, our skin loses collagen and bone structure making it more susceptible to wrinkles and fine lines. We offer Juvederm, Restylane and Sculptra to diminish facial lines and restore volume and fullness in the face.
Juvederm and Restylane line of fillers are made with hyaluronic acid. This substance already naturally exists in your body. The soft injectable gel is made up of stabilized, non- animal hyaluronic acid for consistent quality. Though manufactured, the gel is tissue-friendly and closely resembles the hyaluronic acid naturally occurring in the body. The use of injectable HA fillers can eliminate wrinkles, plump, and hydrate lips, replace soft-tissue volume loss, raise scar depressions, and volumize creases and folds of the face.

We also offer Sculptra, a FDA-approved poly-L-Lactic acid facial injectable that diminishes wrinkles, makes your face look more youthful and brings volume. The results are astounding and very natural. It is injected into areas of volume loss and over time will induce collagen production in the treated areas. PLLA is a biodegradable material that has been used in medicine for many years including suture material. Scultptra gradually simulates your body to produce new collagen naturally.
Both treatments produce results lasting 1-2 years and can be done by our skilled nurse injector during a 60-90 minute appointment.
Microneedling
At Tantrum Med Spa, we love the natural benefits of SkinPen microneedling treatments. Microneedling is an effective way to improve your skin’s texture, reduce scarring, as well as fine wrinkles. We use the FDA approved SkinPen device to microneedle. This device precisely creates millions of micro channels on the surface of the skin to stimulate our bodies natural healing cascade. The treatments result in an increase in collagen and elastin production. This 90 minute treatment can be done with both our experienced esthetician and skilled nurse injector.
